Junior-High and Senior-High Youth:

Tell us your favorite Christmas tradition in 250 words or less, and you could win a sweet prize and/or be published in the District Highlights!

Submissions must be mailed to the District Office by November 1, 2008. A panel of judges will read entries, and choose one senior-high and one junior-high winner to receive gift certificates.

Selected entries will be printed in the December/January issue of the District Highlights. Entries will not be returned.

Please include your name, address, grade, and church affiliation.

Hey, all - welcome to the new blog! I've been trying to think of a way to post ideas and hear from you, and Facebook is great, however shallow. So feel free to respond, share you thoughts, and even ask questions. This is your place.

As you may know, I'm the Children and Youth Ministries Coordinator for the Western PA District of the Church of the Brethren. Your District Leadership Team has asked me to try a few things, branch out, do whatever I can to bring y'all together and get to know each other. Traditionally, folks in the church are kinda wary of technology, but man o man, if it can bring people together from far away places, I say let's give it a whirl.
